This self-directed course is intended to increase knowledge and understanding of the opioid crisis in Canada, opioid use risk factors and harms, harm reduction strategies and person-focused strategies for supporting someone with an opioid use disorder.

VR Opioid Overdose

This self-guided course is built upon “Reducing Stigma and Promoting Recovey for Opioid Overdose” and is aimed at teaching you how to respond to an opioid overdose at home, work, or in the community. This training provides you with education on best practices responding to an opioid overdose, as well as the opportunity to practice your response with a computer-based virtual reality simulation.
